

Mike Emlet
Dean of FacultyMike Emlet is a counselor and Dean of Faculty at CCEF. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. He worked as a family physician for over ten years before joining CCEF in 2001. Mike has counseled for many years and has particular interests in working with ministry leaders and with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, and OCD. He writes regularly for the Journal of Biblical Counseling and the CCEF blog. He is the author of several books, including CrossTalk: Where Life and Scripture Meet; Descriptions and Prescriptions: A Biblical Perspective on Psychiatric Diagnoses and Medications; and Saints, Sufferers, and Sinners: Loving Others As God Loves Us. Mike and his wife, Jody, have two children. Mike enjoys gardening, camping, and various artistic endeavors.
