Partners in Suffering and Comfort: What does it look like to journey faithfully with others in their experience of loss? How do we provide meaningful comfort? Paul gives us a clue in 2 Corinthians 1:3–7. He tells us that just as the sufferings of Christ overflow into our lives so we also experience the comfort of Christ overflowing into our lives. But that’s not the end of the story. God intends the rich comfort we receive to flow over into the lives of other suffering people. This session explores the dynamic of living as a conduit of Christ’s comfort for those who are hurting. We also look at common obstacles to faithfully walking with those who have experienced loss.
