In this audio talk, CCEF faculty discuss practical help for a sexless marriage. Analyzing a case study of an actual pastoral situation, the CCEF panel discusses how a pastor or helper can best care for and counsel “Bob” and “Kelly,” a married couple struggling with their sexual relationship. Bob is halfhearted about sex, saying he could “take it or leave it,” but occasionally struggles with pornography. Kelly does not enjoy sex and views it as “a necessary evil” to provide children, yet she wishes Bob was more affectionate with hugging, cuddling, and love notes. With participation from the audience, the CCEF panel explores Bob and Kelly’s holistic situation, poses helpful questions to ask, discusses common patterns, and gives practical wisdom for how to engage with this couple.
