Appearance Is Everything?

Western culture is changing in fundamental ways right before our eyes. In this audio talk, Paul Tripp explores culture’s focus on the physical parts of being including a fixation with youth, affluence, leisure, and thinking of the present moment. Tripp maintains that the rise of things like cosmetic technology and visual media have led to a disregard for the condition of our hearts. He argues that the solution requires a rebuilding not of body, but of heart and only the diagnostic and cure of the gospel can save us.
