How Friends Help Us Draw Near to God

The story of Scripture in many ways is a story of friendship. God designed human beings for connection and friendship, but that friendship is broken as a result of our sin and suffering. How can friendship redeem that brokenness and function as a part of God’s redemptive plan to bring us closer to himself? How can we help our counselees and those we minister to build lasting, Christ-centered friendships that draw us closer to God?
