JBC Submissions

Submit an article to our Journal of Biblical Counseling

submitting to the jbc

The mission of the Journal of Biblical Counseling (JBC) is to develop clear thinking and effective practice in biblical counseling. We seek to do this through publishing articles that faithfully bring the God of truth, mercy, and power to the issues that face the pastoral ministries of counseling and discipleship.

Submissions to the Journal of Biblical Counseling are welcome. If you would like to submit an article for review, please follow the instructions below.

Before you decide to submit an article for consideration, please familiarize yourself with how we operate by reading the following two articles.

We'll get back to you!

You will receive an email acknowledgment that your article has been received. Proposals will be evaluated as our time permits. The JBC is a small operation! There are seasons near publication date when we get too busy to review new submissions. But in the email acknowledgment, we will give you a time frame of when you can expect an answer.

If your article is approved for publication, you will be asked to sign a licensing agreement that specifies your rights as the author and ours as the publisher. We do not normally complete this agreement until the article is ready for publication in a specific issue.
