How to Discover and Test Whether You Have Teaching Gift

This article is presented as a condensation of a Doctor of Ministry project submitted to Westminster Theological Seminary by the Rev. Stanley R. Allaby. In the article, Allaby examines preliminary research on the topic of spiritual gifts, offers a definition of the gift of teaching, characteristics of one with the gift of teaching, and tests to help a person discover whether he has the gift of teaching. He concludes the article with procedures that can help a person test whether he has the gift of teaching. The article ends with an appendix of sample tests and evaluation tools that can be used in assessing teaching gifts.
