CCEF: The Beginning

In this article, John Bettler offers his reflections on the history of the nouthetic counseling movement and CCEF. Bettler describes the context in which the movement arrived and the Rogerian pastoral counseling model that was dominant in pastoral care prior to the nouthetic movement.
