“Accreditation” for Theological Education by Extension on the Foreign Field – Introduction

In this article, Milton Fisher presents a brief introduction to the following three articles in this section of the journal. The articles that follow cover the subject of theological training on young church fields and discuss the increasingly popular and “effective” innovation known as theological education by extension. Fisher ends with an exhortation for pastors and leaders to consider what is being taught in various programs before offering endorsement or accreditation for them.
