Impacting Christ’s Kingdom Around the World
Dear friend,
Where in the world is biblical counseling growing? Just listen—and consider how you might give a gift to spur the mission of restoring Christ to counseling and counseling to the church around the world. Here are a few CCEF events that will equip thousands this fall:
- Ed Welch will travel to Hong Kong to conduct a church conference for nearly 700 attendees. His wife, Sheri, will join him to spend time informally encouraging women. Ed’s theme for the conference is “Suffering with God: All of Life Is Personal,” and his sessions will include “The Story of Suffering,” “How to Talk with God: Psalm 10,” and “Shame, Guilt, and Help in Suffering.”
- Ed Welch will also speak at a conference in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico in connection with Alpha & Omega Church and MINTS Seminary. With 2,500 attendees expected, the purpose of this conference is to encourage church leadership. The conference theme is “No Fear,” and Ed will teach on anxiety, depression, fear, and suicide.
- The CCEF National Conference will take place October 3–5 in Hershey, PA. The theme is “To Live Is Christ: The Life & Ministry of Paul,” and we currently have 2,417 attendees registered. This year, at least 14 countries will be represented in-person and 19 countries will be represented virtually.
Recently, we heard from a passionate donor, CCEF alum, and Westminster MAC graduate about the work she does in the Middle East. She concluded:
“The ministry of CCEF has played a profound role in my own life, mining the riches of Scripture for everyday life and teaching me to do the same. As part of a church and ministry in the Middle East that feels the same way about CCEF, I know I’m in the right place!”
