An Update from the CCEF Board
The Board of Trustees of CCEF announces that Alasdair Groves has stepped down from his role as Executive Director and faculty member at CCEF. This decision was made in consultation with the Board following a careful review and consideration of CCEF’s leadership needs as we look toward the future. For the avoidance of doubt, the Board wants to emphasize that Alasdair is not stepping down because of any spiritual, moral, or financial concerns.
The Board is united in expressing gratitude to Alasdair for his service and dedication to CCEF for many years, including the last five years as Executive Director. God has used him in many ways to advance our mission and vision. He leaves CCEF in a strong position to continue to fulfill our mission to restore Christ to counseling and counseling to the church.
Leadership transitions inevitably feel unsettling. We invite you to join the Board in praying for Alasdair and his family during this period of change and to pray that God would enable CCEF to continue to serve Christ faithfully and meet the many opportunities for ministry that are before us.
The Board is pleased to announce that Jonathan Holmes will be serving as the Interim Executive Director of CCEF, along with an interim transition team of both past and current CCEF stakeholders. We thank our staff, donors, and supporters for their continued trust and support during this transition.
Sincerely,
Rod Mays | Chairman of the Board
