More – On Purpose

In this article, Adams builds on the ideas presented in his previous article “On Purpose” from JPP 1:1. He discusses the selection of a preaching portion of Scripture and how the selected portion should reflect on particular purpose. Adams illustrates this point using the book of Jude as an example. He concludes the article with a discussion of the use of outlines and preaching points – should they be always be announced or should the purpose determine whether they are announced?
