"Who Am I Now?" A Loss of Identity

"Who am I Now?" Identity loss often comes with the emotionally confusing moments of life. A person in a life transition, such as graduation, retirement, or returning home from deployment, can suddenly fear what comes next. A person traumatically affected by a job loss, debilitating illness, death of a loved one, or betrayal may question the stability of his life as a whole. And someone who is disappointed, who wanted or expected things that did not occur, may ask if her life has purpose.
