Identity loss often comes with the emotionally confusing moments of life. A person in a life transition, such as graduation, retirement, or returning home from deployment, can suddenly fear what comes next. A person traumatically affected by a job loss, debilitating illness, death of a loved one, or betrayal may question the stability of his life as a whole. And someone who is disappointed, who wanted or expected things that did not occur, may ask if her life has purpose. In this session we’ll examine the experience of lost identity and apply Scripture to the process of reestablishing it.

This session is from our 2014 National Conference: Loss: Finding Hope That Lasts When Life Falls Apart. Purchase the entire audio here.
