In this article, John Bettler preaches a sermon from Micah 4:1-5. Bettler argues that Micah 4 describes the state of shalom, of peace and the way God intends it to be. He maintains that, to experience this peace now, you need the right God on the throne. Bettler continues that the Bible always puts work and rest together and concludes that people who don’t have shalom are people who have forgotten how to rest.
