In this article, Robert Jones examines the complicated issue of bad memories. Jones begins with a biblical perspective on memories and argues that, while we cannot erase or deny bad memories of past sins, Christ can transform them into something good. Jones concludes that when we recall past sins through the lens of Christ’s mercy, God brings repentance and deepening humility.
