In this article, Dick Fisher summarizes the secular observations related to anorexia nervosa. Fisher offers preliminary thoughts and a possible way forward in thinking biblically about this growing problem. He argues that many of the characteristic features of this diagnosis are beginning points for biblical counseling. Fisher presents a basic framework for how a biblical counselor might approach this issue.
