Richard Ganz

Confession of a Psychological Heretic

Journal of Biblical Counseling 13:2

In this article, Richard Ganz tells the story of how he went from a clinical psychologist to a committed biblical counselor. Ganz sees Christian psychology as having a deficient theological understanding and denying the Word of God and its power. Ganz concludes that the counseling concepts woven into psychoanalytic (and its secular psychotherapeutic offshoots) are inherently opposed to the Word of God.
