In today’s health insurance climate, insurers are increasingly reluctant to pay for an out-of-network provider. It is important for you to understand what your policy covers. If you have coverage, we are glad to provide you with the proper receipts for your carrier. However, you will be expected to make full payment at the time of your session and have your insurance company reimburse you. Thanks for your understanding.
On the rare occasion that the CCEF New England office closes due to weather, we will call all counselees scheduled for that day. Should you ever decide to cancel your session due to weather, we simply ask that you call to let us know. No cancellation fee will be charged.
We offer a variety of training opportunities for individuals and groups, including conferences, counseling courses, and a monthly lunch & learn. For advanced students, we are currently accepting applications for an intensive 9-month counseling internship (read overview here).
We created the CCEF New England Cohort to connect and support local biblical counseling students. We hope to coordinate groups of 5+ students to access tuition discounts for CCEF’s six certificate courses. Read more about the CCEF New England Cohort here.
Our counselors are available to speak at your church or ministry on a variety of counseling topics. Formats range from short seminars to weekend retreats, and include remote events. Please contact our office for details.
Speaker biographies can be found on our "Our Team" page.
Any current or interested biblical counseling student is invited to join CCEF New England counselors for lunch and discussion on the first Monday of each month from 12:00–1:00. Bring your lunch and any questions you have about your own biblical counseling interest and journey, as well as challenges and needs you face as you try to care well for the people in your life. This is a chance to rub shoulders with other like minded folks who are seeking to engage similar ministry interests as you. Since life and ministry in New England can often be so isolating, we want to provide camaraderie and encouragement to you through these gatherings. For those of you who have/are taking a CCEF course(s), this is also a chance for you to share what you are learning and get feedback from other learners and counselors.
We host an annual regional conference. Contact our office to purchase audio from past conferences.
