In the garden, the doors were closed after Adam and Eve sinned. All of humanity lost direct access to God from that point on, and we now needed a mediator between God and us. The Old Testament era provided temporary, imperfect priests to grant limited access. But with the death and resurrection of Christ, we have a permanent, perfect Priest. The doors to God have swung wide open and every barrier is now broken down. Not only that, but God even made a way for us to become priests ourselves, and we live today as a holy priesthood before the world. This session will consider how apprehending the priesthood of all believers transforms us, our love for God, and our love for neighbor.
