Shepherding for Shepherds: Christ's Care for You (Session 5: Pastor Care)

Part of what makes pastoring hard is the same thing that makes it exciting: you deeply want to honor Christ and feed his sheep. This can be exhilarating and it can be draining. Working from the words of the first under-shepherd, Peter, this talk will focus on the ways that Christ cares for his beloved under-shepherds, the tenders of his flock. In particular, we will focus on debunking some of the most subtle and deadly lies you face about your work, your character, and the work of the Spirit in you. The hope of Christ working in you and through you for his glory is much nearer and much richer than pastors often realize.
