In this audio talk, Ed Welch argues that the Apostle Paul was no stranger to dealing with broken relationships within the church. The Corinthian church was one of those where dysfunction ran rampant. How does the Apostle Paul’s example in dealing with the Corinthian church help us in our relationships? Welch discusses the problems in Corinth (status-seeking people who were ‘in bed’ with the world); Paul’s indictment (“you are a puffed up people”); and Paul’s response (It looks bizarre to the naked eye, but it looks natural and truly human in light of Christ crucified – he boasts in his weaknesses and in the cross of Christ).
