Anger - The Universal Addiction

Jesus came to redeem evil, twisted, broken hearts. In this audio talk, John Bettler maintains that we all struggle with anger, though it takes a variety of forms. Mark 9:14–29 gives us an account of Jesus’ redemption of a demon-possessed boy. Bettler shows how this story gives us insight into how Christ works in our hearts. He argues that faith is what we need to redeem our anger, and that the prayer of faith is the only way we connect with the Redeemer of our anger. Jesus doesn’t want to teach anger management skills; he wants to change your heart.
