Religious OCD: “Am I saved?” “Have I committed the ‘unpardonable’ sin?” “Is this action a sin?” “Why do I always feel condemned?” “Why can’t I get these thoughts out of my head?” This session provides a gospel-based ministry approach to Christians crippled by obsessive doubt, scrupulosity, and an overly-sensitive conscience.

This lecture is from the 2011 National Conference, “Psychiatric Disorders.” Also available as a DVD curriculum designed to be used individually or in a group setting.

Mike Emlet is a faculty member at CCEF. He holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and an MDiv degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. He worked as a family physician for twelve years before joining CCEF.
