In this article, Stanley Gale discusses Matthew 6:24-34 in which Jesus considers worry a form of idolatry. Gale argues that worry is sin and that its elimination is imperative for counselee and counselor. He discusses the biblical guidance on overcoming worry by focusing on the day in which we find ourselves. Gale concludes with an example of what putting off and putting on look like as it relates to worry.
