In this article, Kurt Goedelman critiques the New World Translation of the Bible published by the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Goedelman point to the anonymity of the credentials of the committee and several of their interpretive and exegetical decisions that are alarming. These include: non-existent rules of Greek grammar, invention of a Greek tense, adding words to Scripture, and lack of knowledge of the translators.
