In this article, David Powlison examines the use of feeling language, the way the Bible speaks about and redeems the domains spoken about as feelings as well as ways in which counseling is informed by attention to what people feel. Powlison discusses the language of feelings and the treatment of feelings amongst biblical counselors. He continues with a discussion of redeeming human experience and concludes with a discussion of the role feelings play in wise counseling.
