The Way of the Wise: Teaching Teenagers About Sex

In this article, Paul Tripp discusses the institutionalization of sexual idolatry in our culture as well as the conflicting messages teens hear from the church. Tripp argues that Christianity appears to be “sex-negative” rather than offering a wise alternative sexuality. He stresses the importance of developing a biblical view of both teens and sexuality. Tripp concludes his article by giving concrete advice for educating teens, for restoring teens who have misused sex, and for helping teens plan for godly relationships.
