The Mandate for Christian Education

Part 2 of a 4 part series. In this article, Paul Settle argues that Christian education is a component of fulfilling the Great Commission. He maintains that one of the key functions of the church is to build up every believer “until they come to unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the full measure of perfection found in Christ” (Eph. 4:13) and argues “not every professing Christian becomes a practicing Christian.” Part 1 of this series is in JPP 1:1, Part 2 in JPP 1:2, Part 3 in JPP 2:1 and Part 4 in JPP 2:2.
