In this article, Milton Fisher encourages pastors to take an active role in foreign missions within their church. He suggests an approach to missions that focuses on fewer missionaries that are deeply known instead of “the usual scatter-shot approach” that many churches take towards missions. By creating missionary relationships that are rooted in personal relationship, the pastor and congregation can both offer practical helps to the missionary and expand the church’s involvement in missions.
