In this article, Larry Overstreet discusses the importance of effective communication within a church. He argues that, too often, the church “grapevine” is the primary means of communication and is not an effective way to communicate within a church. Overstreet discusses the various forms of communication: technical, semantic and effective and then discusses strategies for increasing effective communication within the church.
