In this article, D. Clair Davis encourages parents, pastors and churches to have a gospel saturated and Christ-focused approach to discipling their children. He argues that we often assume too much or expect too little in teaching and training children and youth in the church. Davis encourages “gospel honesty” with children as a way to help them grow and mature into Christ-like disciples.
