In this article, Miltinnie Yih argues that much can be learned about God’s sovereignty and eternity through the life of a special needs child. Yih maintains that believers can take major stumbling blocks in their lives and use them as stepping stones to get closer to God. She examines her own journey as the parent of a son born autistic and mentally handicapped. Yih discusses the struggle for answers, the unfolding story, ministering with a special needs child and the spiritual needs of a special needs child.
