In this article, Michael Major asks the question facing a Christian national in another country: “Where do I receive my training?” He continues with an evaluation of options currently available to nationals that wish to receive theological education: (1) Seminary in an affluent society, (2) Seminary in another part of his own country, (3) A model similar to that described by John Frame in JPP 2:1. Major advocates for the third option and provides reasons for training that can prepare the individual for the work of ministry in his situation.
