In this editorial, Jay Adams introduces the new format of the Journal and discusses the idea of integration in biblical counseling, specifically, he provides and answer to the question “Do nouthetic counselors believe in integration?” Adams maintains that (1) There is no necessary relationship between psychology and Christian counseling and (2) There is a relationship between legitimate psychology and Christian counseling that can be fruitful.
