Discipling, Counseling, and Church Discipline

This article is a revised version of a talk given by Jay Adams to the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors in 1983. In the article, Adams overviews the question of church discipline in relation to discipling. Adams sees church discipline as the condition for learning and examines the process and the part the entire congregation plays in the process.
