In this article, Howard Dial discusses the definition and dynamics of discouragement. He utilizes biblical examples to show various examples of discouragement throughout history. Dial argues, “freedom from discouragement is not the absence of problems. It comes from a proper approach to the routine and not-so-routine pressures of life.” He then moves into a discussion of deliverance from discouragement utilizing biblical principles.
