This article discusses the unique challenges that face the children of missionaries (MK’s – Missionary Kids). The article, written by Robert Wright, was written for the guidance of Wright’s own missionary board. In the article, Wright points out several helpful things that churches and families within churches can do to ease the strain and sting of culture shock that missionary children are exposed to. He identifies causes of cultural stress, ways that children cope, and suggestions for helping children and families adjust to the mission field.
