This article examines the application of biblical counseling in a cross-cultural setting using 6 presuppositions that guide the discussion: (1) The anthropology of Scripture, (2) The axiology of the counselor, (3) The etiology of problems, (4) The objective of Scripture, (5) The responsibility of man, and (6) The change of personality through behavioral modification and mind-renewal.
