In this article, Marshall Hawkins discusses roles in Christian marriage and whether or not a wife is commanded to obey her husband in all circumstances. Hawkins identifies two kinds of trust that are important to distinguish in the counseling relationship. He maintains that God reserves blind faith for Himself only, distinguishes between blind trust and ordinary trust and concludes with God’s command to husbands to love their wives.
