In this article, Daniel Senor responds to the article “The Miraculous Gifts of the Holy Spirit – Have They Ceased?” in JPP 7:1. In his reply, Senor offers an alternative interpretation of 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. He concludes that the Spirit gives the gifts as He wills, whatever they are. Senor also concludes that the gifts should be looked at not as being done away with but rather in the perspective of how we should use what God has given us, to guard against their abuse and misuse, to encourage each other, and to learn from them.
