He includes discussion of: (1) The “rhythm” method, (2) The diaphragm and contraceptive jelly, (3) The condom, (4) Various chemical methods (oral contraceptives and intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD), and (5) Surgical methods (vasectomy and tubal ligation). Monroe ends his article with a Christian response to the topics of abortion, therapeutic abortion, and oral-genital sex.
