Speaking Our Losses and Finding Refuge: Losses surround us. Scripture tells us that trials will strengthen us, yet so often our losses seem to undermine our faith. This raises a critical question for our Christian life: how do we respond to God in the midst of loss? This session aims to help us appreciate the fact that our great Helper has invited us to speak to him from our hearts. We will consider how we can grow in responding to God’s invitation so that we can wrestle honestly with him—and come to know his comfort and peace even as we go through the experience of loss.
