“Biblical Counseling in Korea:” The Korean church has not been characterized by organized, intentional counseling practice or philosophy. But pastors and lay leaders increasingly see the need for counseling training and practice. Integrationist psychology has made some inroads, but Korean Christians tend to be more biblically oriented than psychologically oriented. Education and training in biblical counseling, along with publishing and translation of materials, are all increasing.
