As Thanksgiving approaches, Megan Wong, CCEF's Director of Development & Advancement, shares our gratitude for your partnership over the past year.
In a year when life has been turned upside down, I’ve had to more intentionally look for God and His goodness. Even in the midst of anxiety, frustration, disappointment, and tension, I have seen God’s hand at work in my own heart and life, and I’ve certainly seen his clear care and provision for us here at CCEF.
As we approach the Thanksgiving and holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank you, our friends and donors, for being an extension of God’s goodness to us. This year we were able to produce a Covid-19 resources page to give hope and help and encouragement to those in time of need. We saw thousands of students taking our classes and we had hundreds of hours of counseling take place. We also saw God in the ordinary moments. We saw how he was able to draw near to people who were suffering, We saw how sinners were pointed to the hope of Christ, how pastors were encouraged, and how everyday people like us were equipped to serve and love others. Your prayers, your financial support, your care and encouragement have helped to sustain us in 2020, and through the ministry of CCEF, you’ve gone on to touch thousands of lives, people looking for hope and help. So thank you for your generosity and kindness to us.
May the Lord richly bless you as you gather around the table – whether in person or virtually – and may you know how deeply grateful we are for your partnership.
