Of the secular books on ADD, this is the best. [But] the book is not Christian. It is unaware of the power of the gospel to change a person, it has never witnessed parenting that addresses a child's heart, it is unable to distinguish between spiritual and physical, and it takes a biological approach to the question, 'What causes ADD?'
As with everything we read and hear, Christians should assimilate this information [about ADD] with biblical discernment. The material on ADD is often interesting and helpful, but it is not Scripture. Therefore, it can be prone to unbiblical assumptions and errors.
