Traveling To/From New York, NJ / Newark, NJ
Flights
Short flights can be taken from most New York (or the Newark, NJ) airports into the Philadelphia International Airport. See above options for transportation from the airport to Valley Forge.
Train
Another option to Philadelphia would be the Amtrak train, which runs into Philadelphia's 30th Street Station (See below). See the following website for reservations and pricing on Amtrak: http://www.amtrak.com.
To/From 30th Street Train Station
Tropiano Transportation
Tropiano also runs from 30th Street Train Station to the Valley Forge area. Pick up for the shuttle will be on the 29th street side on the island. See above for Tropiano information. Reservations are also highly recommended from this location. Please call Tropiano upon arrival.
Septa Bus System - Route 125
The Septa 125 bus can be picked up at the 30th Street Station on 29th and Market Street. Please download detailed schedule information here: http://www.septa.org/service/sched/pdfs/125.pdf.
Regional Rail- R6
The Regional Rail runs out of 30th Street Station to many Philadelphia suburban areas. Passengers must be prepared to take the rail into Norristown on the R6 and then take the Septa Bus System out to the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge. See above for 125 Septa bus information. Upon arrival in Norristown, please exit the train and make your way to the Wissahickon Transfer Center. This will be the pick-up location for the Septa bus.
