Winston Smith, M.Div., is the director of counseling and a faculty member at CCEF, a lecturer of practical theology at Westminster Theological Seminary and has been counseling for almost 15 years. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Seminary, where he is also in the process of attaining a Doctor of Ministry degree. Winston is the author the mini-books entitled Rest, Help for Stepfamilies, and Divorce Recovery and is currently working on a book on marriage. |

Ed Welch, M.Div., Ph.D., is a counselor and faculty member at CCEF and holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a neuro-psychology specialty from the University of Utah, as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over twenty-six years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling, including the best selling titles When People are Big and God is Small, Addictions: a Banquet in the Grave, Blame it on the Brain, Depression, Running Scared: Fear, Worry and the God of Rest and a curriculum entitled Crossroads: A Step-by-Step Guide Away from Addiction. |

David Powlison, M.Div., Ph.D., is a counselor and faculty member at CCEF and adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary. He holds a Ph.D. in History and Science of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. David has been counseling for over thirty years. He has written many books and articles, including Speaking Truth in Love, Seeing with New Eyes, Power Encounters, and Competent to Counsel. |

Lauren F. Winner, Ph.D., teaches at Duke Divinity School and has degrees from Duke, Columbia, and Cambridge universities, and holds a Ph.D. in history. Lauren travels extensively to lecture and teach, and during the academic year of 2007-2008 she was a visiting fellow at the Center for the Study of Religion at Princeton University. Michael Emlet, M.Div., M.D., practiced as a family physician for twelve years before retiring to become a counselor and faculty member at CCEF and lecturer in Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. Mike holds an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Emlet is the author of the booklets Help for the Caregiver, Angry Children, Asperger Syndrome and OCD: Freedom for the Obsessive Compulsive and is currently working on his first book. |

Tim Lane, M.Div., D.Min., is executive director and faculty member at CCEF and has been counseling for almost 20 years. He has Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary where he is also an associate professor of practical theology. Julie Smith Lowe, M.A. is Associate Faculty at CCEF and has been counseling for over twelve years. She has a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling from Toccoa Falls College. Julie is a Certified Christian Conciliator through Peacemakers Ministries and has spoken on conflict resolution for various groups. Julie has extensive experience with foster and adoptive families. |

Robert A. J. Gagnon, PhD. is Associate Professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He has a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College, an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is the author of The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics and co-author of Homosexuality and the Bible: Two Views. His main fields of interest are Pauline theology and sexual issues in the Bible. |

Michael Kelly, M.Div. is assistant professor of Old Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he has taught for ten years. He holds degrees from Calvin College and Westminster Theological Seminary, where he is completing his Ph.D. in Biblical Hermeneutics. Lois Kehlenbrink, M.S., is a counselor at Redeember Counseling Services in New York City. She is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and studies Biblical Counseling at Westminster Seminary. Lois orchestrated the translation of “How People Change” in to Spanish and is teaching it presently to Latin-American pastors and church leaders in the New York area for Redeemer’s Church Planting Center. |
