Meeting Robyn Huck was as invigorating as a gust from a bracing New England breeze! Robyn is a woman who lives life fully while thinking deeply about the issues of faith, life, and relationships. She loves Jesus and longs for the people around her to know Him and to live in the freedom that He died to bring to those who call upon Him.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Robyn as a student, friend and now as a colleague in our New England Affiliate office. As a student she impressed me with her ability to think broadly in terms of the conceptual development of counseling theory. What does the change process actually look like? How do people overcome the temptations of the heart that threaten to enslave them? How can they find peace in the suffering that beats upon them from the circumstances of life? Bottom line, how do hurting people come to know Jesus, one counseling session at a time? Robyn is gifted in understanding the need for a consistent application of scripture to the challenges people face today in our prevailing culture of materialism and individualism.

Robyn combines her theoretical insight with a warm compassion for the people she is called to love. She understands their struggles, comes alongside them and incarnates the grace and hope they need to find in Jesus. She is able to persevere with people; she has been counseling in the church setting for 7 years and evidences a growing maturity in her ministry and relationships.

I look forward to seeing Robyn develop and grow further in her faith and counseling. I anticipate seeing the fruit of her counseling, leading and teaching others. I can learn much from Robyn – I already have. I would recommend her unhesitatingly as a counselor and teacher.
